Selection Process of RRB ALP 2025
The selection process for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 comprises the following stages:
- First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 1): This is a screening test consisting of objective-type questions covering subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes, with a total of 75 questions.
- Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 2): Candidates who qualify CBT 1 will appear for CBT 2, which is divided into two parts:
- Part A: Covers subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness. It consists of 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
- Part B: A trade-specific test with 75 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. This part is qualifying in nature.
- Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Applicable only for ALP posts, this test assesses the candidates’ aptitude relevant to the job.
- Document Verification: Candidates who clear the above stages will be called for document verification.
- Medical Examination: Finally, candidates must pass the medical fitness test to ensure they are medically fit for the duties associated with the post.
